Business Development Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing sales team. The primary objective of this role is to generate high-quality leads and sales opportunities for our outside sales team. You’ll be the first point of contact for prospective clients, playing a crucial role in building our sales pipeline and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound prospecting via phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels to identify potential clients from a target list of 3,500 companies.
- Qualify leads based on company criteria and set appointments or demos for the outside sales team.
- Maintain and manage a pipeline of prospective customers in CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Research and identify key decision-makers at target companies.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to optimize lead generation strategies and messaging.
- Maintain detailed records of interactions and follow-ups.
- Meet or exceed monthly targets for qualified leads and scheduled meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
- 1–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles (SaaS or B2B experience a plus).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and goal-oriented.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Compensation: $100,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
