Technical Project Manager – Cloud Migration

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager (Tech PM) to lead and manage cloud migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of cloud migration projects, working closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
· Lead end-to-end project management of cloud migration initiatives (e.g., Teradata to GCP).
· Create and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
· Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to define migration strategies and technical solutions.
· Coordinate with application owners to assess cloud readiness and identify dependencies.
· Manage risks, issues, and changes across the project lifecycle.
· Ensure compliance with security, governance, and compliance standards.
· Facilitate regular status meetings and provide timely updates to leadership and stakeholders.
· Maintain project documentation and ensure alignment with overall IT and business goals.

Required Skills and Experience:
· 5+ years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years focused on cloud migration projects.
· Strong understanding of cloud platforms (esp. GCP) and associated services.
· Proven track record of managing infrastructure or application migration projects to the cloud.
· Familiarity with tools like Jira, MS Project, Confluence, or equivalent.
· Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
· PMP, Scrum Master, or other project management certifications preferred.
· Cloud certifications in GCP are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
· Understanding of networking, security, and compliance considerations in cloud migration.
· Background in software development or IT infrastructure.
Flexible work from home options available.
Compensation: $90,000.00 per year
