  • Experience in P&C Insurance
  • Consulting / consulting industry experience
  • Technical skills – Power Bi dashboard, Snowflake, SQL  - advanced skills – atleast 5 years in these tech
  • Remote is fine
  • Role works with the Chief Claims office so good comm skills needed

The job responsibilities include the following:
  • Clearly Setting Project Objectives with the Client – Take initiatives to identify opportunities and develop problem statements to be worked upon.
  • Data Extraction, Cleansing and Manipulation – Manage large volume of data, research for variables and work with structured/unstructured data. 
  • Report Generation – Development new reports and dashboards based on business requirements.
  • Insight Generation: Create insights for executive audience like competitor analysis
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deep dive into business issues and create presentations for technical and non-technical leadership. Act as a translator of data to the business leadership
  • Documentation – Clear and detailed documentation of the databases and sources as well as KPIs
  • Participate in various other insights generation projects and work on ad-hoc requests relating to data extractions and visualizations as per the client’s need.
  • Should be able to plan their work and execute against it independently
  • Knowledge of P&C insurance and claims lifecycle & metrics, factors, concepts
  • Knowledge of dashboarding tools like Power BI
  • Knowledge of Snowflake, SQL, AWS
We are also looking for a go getter person who can define:
  • Analytical strategies to meet the of business requirements through creating reports or analyzing existing reports to generate insights independently
  • Technical requirements of analytic solutions
  • Data requirements of the reporting and insight generation processes
  • The person will be part of the Data Science team for a major Insurance client. He/ She will work with different stakeholders as SME for Insight Generation.
  • Engages in technical problem solving across multiple technologies; often needs to develop new solutions.
  • A typical workday will involve collaborating with stakeholders as an individual contributor.
  • A suitable candidate should have 6-8 years of experience in a similar role and should possess a go -getter attitude. He/ She should be able to deal with ambiguity.
  • Experience in insurance preferred but not mandatory.
